Do you believe anything is possible? Three years ago, I froze on Zoom, and said I would never be a Public Speaker. I continuously shied away from any opportunity to lead or speak due to my fear of Public Speaking. A year later, my life completely changed.
In June 2022, I was gifted my first Toastmasters International membership, and my life has not been the same since. Taking on a Leadership role in the club allowed me to grow personally and mentor members as they move up each level. I currently serve as an Division Director for District 47 supporting 20 clubs and over 400 members additionally i'm President of an Advanced Toastmasters Club in District 81.
My transformation over the past 18 months has brought me "From the Shadows" to a TEDx Coach for two amazing speakers at TEDxMiramar in June 2024. The reason for my success? I believed in myself even if there was imposter syndrome sinking in. I said yes to each and every opportunity that came my way, and I took chances.
